Petzl Ecrin Roc Helmet Discontinued

Petzl confirmed today the rumours that they stopped making the Ecrin Roc helmet in favour of the newer and lighter helmet series (Metor and Elios).

Originally the Ecrin was scheduled for end of series in 2013 but due to unforeseen circumstances it was discontinued effective immediately. 

This specific type of helmet is still one of the most used helmets throughout Europe and the US. Due to the nice fit, ruggedness, good ventilation and the compatibility with most headlight sets if was the preferred helmet type for a lot of cavers.

So if your up for a new helmet and you liked this model buy one asap. Once the inventory is depleted it will no longer be available.
